well ive had my Bush Pig BBQ Braai for about a year and a half now and ive got to say its the best BBQ fire pit ive ever used the design of it is so easy to use ive even given up using my proper BBQ at home now and started using this ive had 50-60 BBQ and fires in it yet it hasnt changed shape bent or buckled even with some big fires in it .
It is designed as a lightweight Braai (BBQ) with a grid and lift off lid which is easy to handle and transport. The legs double as carry handles when folded. When ready to use the legs are folded down and and the lid placed under the BBQ so the grass underneath doesnt get burnt or scorched . This is also a good place for a plate to to keep the food warm also good toasting buns, fajita wraps etc under there .
The grill itself is 1" square mesh so is easy to replace if its ever lost etc but also as its 1" square sausages dont drop through it easily and its also easy to clean .
As the grill is flat you can also put pans etc on it for making chilli, curry or chicken fajitas mmm also as a extra i got the flat hot plate which i just sit on top of the grill so i can cook onions eggs etc .
Then after ive finished cooking i always have a fire in it like i sad earlier we have had some big fires in it and the lid still fits and its still straight . Theres nothing better while camping than a BBQ a fire and a few beers lol .
Then at the end of the night i just put the lid on it to stop bits of the fire blowing around. This puts the fire out and doesnt leave any mess next morning its cooled down i strap it in the Land Rover if it get bounced about it doesnt matter as its really tough so tough you can use it to fill a ditch and drive over it ive seen them at the LRO shows with land rovers parked on them .
Overall i have to say this is by far the best and most used BBQ i have ever used and i will continue to use for many many years .
